We are pleased to announce two new sustaining members: the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) and the University of Wisconsin (UW). We are currently onboarding the new curators from these institutions– check in on our Curator Gallery in a few weeks to see some new faces!
We are also thrilled to announce that the University of New Mexico, after beta testing membership in the DCN for the previous fiscal year, will join the network as an Ambassador for the coming years. We will work closely with our colleague Jon Wheeler to host a data curation workshop in New Mexico. The workshop will coincide with the annual NM Library Association meeting in Albuquerque, and is open to interested librarians from the Four Corners area.More details coming soon!
Lynda Kellam will serve on the DCN Governance Board as the Penn representative. Lynda is the Interim Head of Research Data and Digital Scholarship and Head of Research Data at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries. Lynda earned her PhD in American History and MLIS from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Lynda also holds an MA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Cameron Cook will serve on the DCN Governance Board as the UW-Madison representative. Cameron is the Data & Digital Scholarship Manager and Chair of Research Data Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries. Cameron earned her MLIS from UW-Madison. (She strives to take a people-centered approach to her work and aims to empower & be an advocate for her campus communities, a translator between stakeholders, an improver of systems, and a dreamer of opportunities.
