In partnership with the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), the Data Curation Network team has released Data Curation, SPEC Kit 354, an exploration of the infrastructure that 80 ARL member institutions are using for the active and ongoing management of data through its life cycle of interest and usefulness to scholarly and educational activities. This SPEC Kit covers which data curation services are offered, who may use them, which disciplines use services most, library staffing levels, policies and workflows, and the challenges of supporting these activities. This SPEC Kit includes examples of data repository webpages and descriptions of services, infrastructure, workflows, metadata schemas, policies, and jobs.
