Two DCN members presented at the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) in Melbourne, Australia on February 5, 2019. DCN Curators Debra Fagan and Erin Clary, both from Dryad, developed the presentation “The Data curation Network: A Curator’s Perspective.” Fagan and DCN PI Lisa Johnston co-presented the talk.

The audience asked several great questions, such as:

·        What file formats do you encounter, especially odd ones?
·        What level of researcher involvement goes into the curation process?
·        Logistics around what is handled locally vs going to the network?
·        Sustainability plan?
·        Connectors into community repositories?
·        Lessons learned?
