The DCN is delighted to announce our newest sustaining members: Carnegie Mellon University and the University of New Mexico!

We are pleased to welcome new members from Carnegie Mellon University:

Alfredo González-Espinoza is the Research and Data Services Librarian at Carnegie Mellon University Libraries. Alfredo has a background/expertise in Complex Systems and interdisciplinary research. Outside academia he likes to play the cello, listen to music, play video games, and outdoor activities like biking/hiking or playing soccer. Alfredo will serve as the Governance Board Representative for CMU.

Stay tuned for more information about the CMU curators in the coming weeks!

We also are excited the University of New Mexico has joined as a Sustaining Member after being an Ambassador during FY 23-24. Jon Wheeler, the representative from UNM, is actively involved with the Governance Board and Executive Committee. He recently mentored a primer on TIFF Data Curation and co-taught a Data Curation Fundamentals workshop in October 2023.

With these additions, as well as the institutions that joined through RADS 2, we now have 25 sustaining members in the Data Curation Network!
