Laura Hjerpe is a Senior Research Data Management Librarian at the University of Virginia Library where she supports researchers at all levels and across all disciplines engaged in data-intensive research by providing data management and data discovery consultations in addition to contributing online and course content. Laura has experience curating data for an international development data repository and teaching patent and scientific literature search methods as a government contractor. She has a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, an MA in Russian Language and Literature from The George Washington University, and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
