Renata Curty is the Data Curator for the Social Sciences at UCSB Library’s Research Data Services, where she provides project consultations, training and assistance in data management and preservation for the university community. Previously, Renata was an Assistant Professor at the Information Science Department at the State University of Londrina, Brazil. Renata earned a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from Syracuse University, and her research revolves around scholarly communication, data sharing, curation and reuse.
