Matt is a Research Data Management Specialist with the Princeton Research Data Service (PRDS), where he supports data publication and open research practices across the Princeton University community. He has a PhD in Sociology and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame, where his research focused on contentious political transitions and social network dynamics. He also has a background in the humanities, having concentrated on philosophy and religious studies as an undergraduate. Before joining PRDS in November 2019, Matt completed a postdoctoral fellowship through the Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications at Notre Dame, where he was a core researcher and data manager for the NetHealth Project, a large study funded by the National Institutes of Health.
