Susan works with researchers and members of Library Information Technology to develop workflows for transferring data from its local environment, where it is being actively developed by the researcher, to a curation repository where it can be shared and preserved, primarily the UM Library’s repository Deep Blue Data. Borda also works with developers to test and improve Deep Blue Data’s functionality. Previously, Borda worked in academic IT at the University of Minnesota, was the Digital Curation Librarian at UC Merced, and the Digital Technologies Development Librarian at Montana State University.
